Chamber of Commerce President and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba in Vietnam will be directly involved in establishment of building material production joint-venture between Viglacera and Cuba

In the afternoon of 14/04/2015, Mr. Orlando Hernandez Guillen - Cuban Chamber of Commerce President and Mr. Hermino Lopez Diaz - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba in Vietnam visited and worked at Viglacera Corporation - JSC on joint venture establishment procedures for ceramic tile, sanitary ware production in Cuba.



Leaders and key officers of Viglacera Corporation - JSC met with the delegation at the Hall of Historical Exhibitation of the Corporation as well as introduced the "Green buildings" - Thang Long Number One with a desire to bring intimacy as well as the broad picture about the Corporation’s history, current business and development.

Sharing joint-venture establishment progress, General Director Nguyen Anh Tuan said Viglacera desired to bring the best products to Cuba and was ready to accelerate the progress, and, therefore, wished that Mr. Orlando Hernandez Guillen, President of Cuban Chamber of Commerce, could support these procedures at best so that Viglacera can create joint ventures in Cuba as soon as possible.

After visiting the project held by Viglacera and the Hall of Historical Exhibitation of the Corporation, Mr. Orlando Hernandez Guillen - Chairman of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce was very impressed with Viglacera and shared: Viglacera has grown very impressively, formed in war period but has overcome all the difficulties to go up to this current position. Mr. Orlando Hernandez Guillen believed that Viglacera Corporation could become a key company, actively promote cooperation and relationship between Cuba and Vietnam on the way of economic development in Cuba. Sooner or later, construction demands in Cuba will increase rapidly, therefore, sources of building materials will be very much required in terms of amount and quality. The material production joint venture between Cuba and Viglacera must meet these needs, and Mr. Orlando Hernandez Guillen is willing to assist Viglacera in solving problems with paperwork for schedule and establishment of the joint venture.

On 07/04/2015, Cuban Ministry of Construction and Viglacera Corporation-JSC signed the MoU on the list of work needed to be done for the establishment of ceramic tile and sanitary ware production joint venture in Cuba.
