Fecons exhibition in Cuba: Viglacera booth is a bright spot to attract partners and customers

In recent years, Viglacera products are becoming more and more familiar and appear in many construction works in Cuba. With the aim of further promoting economic, trade and investment cooperation with Cuba, Viglacera continues to introduce the latest, energy-saving, environmentally friendly and technologically advanced products at FECONS Exhibition - La Habana from 3 to 6 June, 2018.

FECONS is an International Building Exhibition co-organized by the Cuban Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment, the Chamber of Commerce, the Association of Architects & Construction Engineers, and the Supplier Management Unit every two years in La Habana, with the aim of enhancing the exchange of experience among Cuban and international experts as well as displaying new products and techniques in the construction field.

FECONS 2018 (the XII Exhibition) is held on an area of 4,700 square meters, equivalent to approximately 200 beautifully designed and decorated booths, with the participation of 200 companies from 23 countries such as Vietnam, Spain, USA, China, Germany, Italy, etc. The participation not only gives Viglacera the opportunity to promote its products and services, but also an opportunity for Viglacera leaders to meet partners and to sign important trade agreements.


Cuban Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Construction – Mr. Rene Mesa Villafana, Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment – Mr. Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz visited Viglacera's booth and is especially interested in new product lines, environmentally friendly products.

Viglacera's booth at Fecons 2018 is located at the center of the exhibition and displayed products include sanitary wares, faucets, tiles, terra cotta and building glass with a variety of designs and meet different market segments. Particularly attracting the attention of Cuban visitors are energy-saving glass and smart sanitary ware – these products applied the latest technology such as smart, advanced, outstanding, environmentally and user friendly.


Viglacera booth attracts Cuban visitors

At the same time as Fecons in Cuba, Viglacera signed a joint venture agreement and charter with two factories: Santa Cruz Tiles factory and San José Sanitary wares factory. This is one of Viglacera's major investment projects in Cuba.

Besides, in order to meet the regular needs of Cuban customers, Viglacera has invested a showroom to sell and introduce products in La Habana - Cuba, belong to the ESCAMBRAY – a system of building materials stores.

Currently, Viglacera is one of the important partners in the economic cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba. Viglacera is continuing to accelerate projects working with Cuban partners, especially the investment projects in Mariel Special Zone, investment in Neptuno - Triton hotel complex, investment in Celadon Hotel - New York and investment in building materials factories in Cuba.


On 29 March, 2018, Mrs. Ana Teresa Igarza Martinez - General Director of Mariel Special Zone Management Board granted the Investment license of ViMariel S.A Company in Mariel Development Zone to Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, General Director of Viglacera Corporation JSC. At the same time, the two parties signed an agreement on investment and development of Viglacera Industrial Park in Mariel Special Zone

It can be said that the Vietnamese brand – Viglaceera – is becoming more familiar, reliable and has a great prestige for the Cuban Government, ministries and Cuban people. This has once again confirmed the right direction of Viglacera’s top executives in the development strategy to expand the scope and influence of Viglacera in the international arena.
