Viglacera College held the Graduation Ceremony for 17th course students

As one of the College assessed by the General Department of Vocational Education as a typical school for the training model associated with enterprises, in 2017, Viglacera College officially became a strategic training partner of Samsung Display Vietnam company (SDV) through the cooperation in organizing the implementation of college-level training programs for production staff of the Company.

After 3 years of teaching and learning efforts, on October 15, 2020, Viglacera College held the Graduation Ceremony for students of Course 17 (for the 2017-2020 school year) of Industry Electrical college major, Korean college major - completion of the first course in the program of cooperation between the two sides. Also on this occasion, the school held a Opening Ceremony to welcome new students of Course 20 (for the 2020-2023 school year) with the same majors.

Attending the graduation ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Yen - Rector of Viglacera College and Mr. Lee Jinsoo - Deputy General Director of SamSung Display Vietnam Company and representatives of member companies and more than 400 students. 

K17 students (for the 2017-2020 school year) have made great efforts to study and complete the course with high results in which the graduation rate is high, students with excellent results in Industry Electrical major account for 2.9%, Korean major accounting for 11.5% with a commitment of the minimum level of output of students achieving Topik 3.0 certificate, of which many Korean major students from the second year achieved Topik 3.0 - 4.0.

 

In particular, the college awarded certificates of merit and monetary awards with the total amount of 32 million VND, of which awarded two valedictors: Nguyen Van Tuan of class 17E and Le Thi Dung of 17K class with 5 million VND each; The 04 K17 students have excellent achievements in study and practice, each with 2 million VND. At the same time, the school also awarded 07 scholarships worth 2 million VND / student to students of K18 and K19 courses with excellent achievements in study and practice in the past school year.

On behalf of K17 students, student of Cao Van Giap Class 17E Industry Electrical gave the deepest thanks to the administrators, teachers of Viglacera College, leaders of SDV Company for creating the best conditions for students to study and work at the same time. Sharing at the student ceremony Cao Van Giap affirmed that this was a significant milestone and meaningful to Giap in particular and for all K17 students in general. More specifically, Giap's shared after 3 years of studying were translated directly into Korean by his classmate - Nong Thi Hien of class 17K Korean major was translating directly into Korean at the graduation ceremony, which made a strong impression and it is a testament to the achievement of K17 students after 3 years of study Korean language. 

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Lee Jinsoo expressed his deep gratitude to Viglacera College for cooperating with SDV Company to improve the qualifications of employees. Mr. Lee Jinsoo congratulated Course 17 students on completing the course and emphasized that this will be a new beginning for Course 17 students to continue to achieve success in life. At the same time, he reminded the students who are studying especially, the new students of Course 20, learn from the previous courses to overcome difficulties, balance between study and work to achieve the best results.

Representative of Viglacera College Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Yen awarded diplomas and certificates of merit to excellent students. Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Yen thanked SDV for close cooperation in training and her commitment to ensuring the best training quality so that graduates are not just knowledgeable people with expertise knowledge but also many skills to work best. To mark the beginning of a new school year, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Yen represented Viglacera College to beat the drum to start the new K20 course (school year 2020-2023). 

On behalf of Viglacera College, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Yen wishes the students of Course 17 will achieve many successes in life and will constantly study and foster themselves to complete their jobs well and have more success.
