Viglacera Finishes Runner-up at the 2026 Construction Industry Pickleball Championship
Joining the nationwide celebrations of the country's major anniversaries, the 97th anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 – July 28, 2026), and the ongoing efforts to promote a vibrant cultural and sporting environment across the construction industry, the 2026 Construction Industry Pickleball Championship brought together hundreds of athletes representing government agencies, organizations and enterprises throughout the sector.
For this year's tournament, Viglacera Corporation – JSC fielded six doubles teams, competing in all six competition categories. Demonstrating teamwork, determination and competitive spirit, Viglacera's athletes delivered impressive performances and achieved outstanding results.
Specifically, the Viglacera team secured: 1 Championship – Men's Doubles (Over 45); 1 Runner-up – Women's Doubles (Over 45); 2 Third-place finishes – Women's Doubles (Under 45) and Mixed Doubles (Under 45).
With these achievements, Viglacera finished second overall, behind Northern Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM), which claimed four championship titles. The result reflects the growing strength of sports and wellness activities among Viglacera's employees while showcasing the Corporation's spirit of unity, resilience and determination.
The achievement is especially meaningful as it coincides with the 52nd anniversary of Viglacera Corporation (July 25, 1974 – July 25, 2026). Beyond the medals themselves, these accomplishments stand as a testament to the dedication and hard work of the athletes, while reinforcing Viglacera's image as a dynamic, healthy and united organization committed to sustainable values.
The tournament concluded on a high note, providing fresh momentum for the continued development of sports and physical fitness activities across the Corporation. It also fostered stronger connections among member units, enriched employees' spiritual well-being, and further strengthened Viglacera's corporate culture.
