This commitment has been and is being strongly realized through a series of decisive measures, including administrative reform, digital transformation, the application of the “smart border gate” and “green lane for procedures” models, and the assignment of direct responsibility to heads of agencies to accompany enterprises and resolve all difficulties and obstacles they face.

Speaking at the conference, a representative of Viglacera, the investor of Tran Yen Industrial Park (Lao Cai), affirmed: “As one of Vietnam’s leading industrial infrastructure developers, Viglacera has always identified the development of industrial parks in a modern, synchronized, green and sustainable direction as a key priority, creating a favorable investment environment for domestic and international enterprises.”
As of now, Tran Yen Industrial Park – Phase 1 (255 hectares) is the industrial park project with the most modern and synchronized infrastructure in Lao Cai province, playing an important role as a gateway for international trade, directly connecting with key economic corridors and creating optimal conditions for logistics, goods transportation and cross-border trade activities of enterprises investing here.

Located on a vital economic corridor directly connecting to Lao Cai International Border Gate, Tran Yen Industrial Park possesses an exceptionally advantageous location, situated adjacent to IC12 Interchange on the Noi Bai – Lao Cai Expressway, providing rapid connections to Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi Capital, and major manufacturing centers and electronics, semiconductor and automotive supply chains in Phu Tho, Bac Ninh and Hanoi.
In particular, Tran Yen Industrial Park is located adjacent to the new Yen Bai Station on the Lao Cai – Hanoi – Hai Phong high-speed railway line, which commenced construction in December 2025 and is directly connected to China’s railway network at Lao Cai Border Gate. This significantly reduces goods transportation time to the border gate to just 1 hour and 10 minutes and to seaports to 1 hour and 50 minutes, creating a breakthrough in inter-regional and international connectivity for investors in the industrial park, optimizing logistics costs and contributing to improved operational efficiency for enterprises.
Despite only commencing construction in August 2025, in less than one year, Tran Yen Industrial Park has quickly demonstrated its strong appeal and outstanding potential by successfully attracting more than USD 150 million in investment capital from domestic and international enterprises.
A testament to the project’s success is the outstanding capacity of Viglacera, its investor and one of Vietnam’s leading industrial infrastructure developers. With more than 25 years of experience in developing 19 industrial parks across key economic regions nationwide, Viglacera has to date attracted more than USD 20 billion in high-quality investment capital to its industrial parks in Vietnam. With solid hilly terrain, an abundant clean land fund, synchronized infrastructure developed toward a smart and green model, together with the province’s commitment to comprehensive support in terms of mechanisms and procedures, Tran Yen Industrial Park is confident that it will become an ideal destination for industrial manufacturing, engineering, electronics and high-tech projects in Lao Cai province.
