According to the the planning cycle, business pictures in the begining months of the year are always heavy due to the impact of the long Tet holiday including before and after Tet day-offs. However, the business and production result of Viglacera Corporation – JSC seems positive. Particularly, total profit in January 2017 of the corporation reached 67 billion VND, achieved130 percent of monthly plan, increased 1.13 times compared to the same period last year, and reached 7 percent of annual plan.

Groundbreaking ceremony of dormitories for workers in Yen Phong – Bac Ninh province
In the first working day of Lunar New year “Dinh Dau”, Viglacera held the groundbreaking ceremony of dormitiories for workers in Yen Phong – Bac Ninh province. To workers in Yen Phong industrial zone, the eager for a brand new year further florished. This also showed a timely and rapidly action of Viglacera in response to directive number 03/CT-TTg on subsidized housing development especially housing for worker, which was recently enacted by the Prime minister few days ago. The need for subsidized housing development especially housing for worker was listed in the strategy for developing housing to 2020 and vision to 2030 but had not been responsed or responsed slowly and passively by locals and enterprises. Subsidized housing and housing for worker are currently insufficent.
To theTiles Department: Business and production value of January reached 290 billion VND, 109 percent of monthly plan, 8 percent of annual plan, 100 percent compared to last year period. The quality of 22-piece tile products of units such as Tu LiemViglacera JSC, Ba Hien Viglacera JSC have improved positively, some models reached basic standard, other units stayed stable and reached basic standard; Units paused working during Lunar New year to maintain machine as planned.
In January, Viglacera Float Glass Company maintained the stable production during Tet holiday, average return rate reached the plan, product quality reached basic standard; Float glass business performed well, high efficiency; on 10th January, Binh Duong Float Glass Company summed up the business and production activity of 2016 and started resolving missions and targets plan on business and production for 2017.
To the Ceramics - Shower & Faucet group: Product and production quantity both reached and went beyond the plan (104 percent); Product quality reached basic standard, average return rate stayed stable and reached the plan. Units paused working during Lunar New year to maintain machine as planned. Maintainance procedure was done safely and efficiently. Besides, Binh Duong Viglacera Ceramics Company welcomed 89 government officers, who were off to the North during Tet holiday, back to work; On 13rd February, all the factories gathered and started producing as usual.
During this month, Building Materials Team continued focusing on the projects such as project super white glass with the capacity of 600 tons/ day in Vung Tau, which was given certificate of investment registration by the management of Ba Ria – Vung Tau industrial zones in 3rd January. Currently, the project managementis co-operating with parties to prepare the requirement on geological survey drilling, to design a foundation, and to complete the enterprise registration procedure. Project My Xuan superior ceramics factory: continued carrying investment profile and package bids of building material storehouses.
Great success to Project rebuy, invest, and improve My Duc – Vung Tau tiles factory: Tien Son Viglacera finished signing trade contract, handing over mortgage profile at banks, and now focusing on the procedure of establishing branches and signing business.
Besides, units in the Building Materials Team still continued focusing on projects such as: project super white glaas 250 tons/ day at Dap Cau JSC, project investment on CNC machine for Mold Center, project investment on clay making factory by Thanh Tri Viglacera Ceramics JSC, project that transforms burning fuel to CNG gas by Viglacera Float Glass Company, project 100% tiles at Hoanh Bo (period 2) and science-technolgyproject aerated autoclave concreate chain 200 thousand m3/ year. All projects were being conducted on time.
In real estate field, in January, units in the department continued focusing on procedure and preparation for investing on critical projects: Dong Anh subsidized housing, Dong Anh Kim Chung, BT4- Dang Xa villa, extended Dang Xa, Xuan Phuong period 2, Thang Long period 2, clean water 15 thousand m3 in Tien Son industrial zone, Dong Anh villa on extendedroad YP1 (in the North of Sam Sung industrial zone), Dong Anh extended YP industrial zone, clean water 20 thousand m3 extended YP industrial zone, disctrict planning housing for worker in the North East of Cho town (1200ha), Housing for worker 18.9 ha, House A2, A3 Yen Phong urban area, Hai Yen industrial zone, Dong Mai industrial zone, Phu Ha industrial zone, Tien Hai industrial zone, Yen My industrial zone.
