Vietnam Building Ceramic Association – 6th Term: Promoting the development of green products
The building materials industry is facing pressure to transition toward green practices, reduce energy consumption, and enhance competitiveness. The 6th Congress of the Vietnam Building Ceramic Association is not only a milestone in organizational consolidation but also opens a new development orientation, placing sustainability and international integration at its core.
On the afternoon of March 28 in Hanoi, the Vietnam Building Ceramic Association successfully held its 6th Congress with the participation of representatives from ministries, sectors, professional associations, and more than 100 member enterprises.
The Congress approved reports summarizing the 5th term, review reports, financial reports, and the amended Charter in accordance with Government Decree No. 126/2024/ND-CP regulating the organization, operation, and management of associations. Delegates agreed on the achieved results while also identifying limitations that need to be addressed.
For the 6th term, the Association defined key tasks including: promoting the development of green and energy-saving products; strengthening consultancy and social feedback; expanding international cooperation; organizing specialized exhibitions and seminars; and developing energy and environmental consumption benchmarks in the production of tiles and sanitary ware.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee for the 6th term, with Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan serving as Chairman, Mr. Vu Quoc Hung as Standing Vice Chairman, and Ms. Vu Thi Kim Dung as Secretary General. Mr. Dinh Quang Huy was honored as Honorary Chairman in recognition of his significant contributions to the development of the Association and Vietnam’s building ceramics industry./.
