On March 26, 2026, Viglacera officially inaugurated its exhibition space at the Vietbuild International Exhibition Center, held at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC), Dong Anh, Hanoi. This year’s event gathers approximately 2,500 booths—the largest scale ever within the Vietbuild framework. In that context, Viglacera’s exhibition area attracted significant attention from numerous visitors and customers who came to explore the system of six Green & Smart Building Materials solutions. This solution system is designed to address six key challenges of the construction industry, covering all stakeholders including investors, architects, contractors, and end users.

Government leaders, Ministry of Construction leaders, and professional associations showed particular interest in and strong support for Viglacera’s six Green & Smart solutions due to their practical applicability in real-world construction.

As multiple pressures converge simultaneously—rising fuel prices due to Middle East conflicts, escalating material costs, construction schedule demands, and strict sustainability standards—traditional construction methods, which heavily rely on manual labor and fragmented materials lacking system integration, have revealed their limitations. These approaches are fragmented and create “blind spots” in project management, from operational energy losses and fire protection risks to carbon footprint impacts, directly eroding long-term asset value.

Addressing this complex challenge, Viglacera introduced a system of six material solutions built on the mindset of delivering comprehensive technical solutions that meet international standards. Specifically:

1. Solution for accelerating construction and optimizing workforce resources

By integrating large-format materials such as ALC autoclaved panels and large-format tiles, Viglacera provides a solution that minimizes labor requirements and construction time to the greatest extent.

Specifically, while large-format tiles enable faster installation with fewer joints and greater continuity, each large-format panel (equivalent to the area of 75 traditional bricks) helps shorten construction time by up to two times compared to conventional brickwork.

The ultra-lightweight nature of autoclaved aerated concrete also delivers dual benefits: reducing structural load by 10–15%, optimizing load-bearing structure costs, thereby lowering foundation and beam expenses; and reducing static load, which decreases logistics and transportation costs despite increased transport volume.

If time is gold and labor resources are a constant pressure at construction sites, Viglacera’s ALC panels and large-format tiles provide a rare solution that simultaneously addresses most of these concerns.

2. Energy-saving solution and ensuring national energy security

Aiming to reduce electricity costs throughout the building lifecycle, Viglacera offers two energy-efficient glass product lines: Low-E and Solar Control, suitable for the climatic characteristics of both Northern and Southern regions. The key lies in the application of Magnetron sputtering technology from Germany.

With an ultra-low emissivity coefficient, energy-saving glass outperforms conventional glass by incorporating an effective thermal barrier layer that minimizes heat transfer from outside to inside and vice versa—keeping homes warm in winter and cool in summer, while optimizing long-term operational costs.

Performance tests show that this solution can save up to 51% of energy consumption for cooling systems, significantly reducing lifecycle costs.

For users, this modern building envelope blocks 99% of UV rays and 79% of solar heat, protecting occupants and extending the lifespan of interior furnishings.

Viglacera’s energy-saving glass has achieved Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification in the United States. Its manufacturing plant has obtained LEED Silver certification and is the first energy-saving glass factory in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
In addition, Viglacera provides other glass products such as ultra-clear glass, anti-reflective glass, one-way mirrors, and a full range of post-processing services to meet diverse architectural and functional requirements from a single supplier.

3. Health protection solution

The “Wellness Architecture” trend is addressed by Viglacera through two technical layers applied to sanitary ware products.

Viglacera sanitary ware products feature antibacterial and touchless functions, including rimless toilets and integrated basins that minimize joints and bacterial accumulation, ensuring a safe bathroom environment.

First is the ViGuard™ ceramic glaze integrated on toilet and basin surfaces, providing high antibacterial performance and actively eliminating bacteria causing skin and digestive diseases. Rimless toilet designs and seamless under-counter basins eliminate hidden corners where mold and bacteria thrive.

Second is the integration of touchless technologies in smart toilet systems, reducing the risk of cross-contamination—especially valuable in households and public restrooms.

Similarly, faucet products coated with premium PVD layers not only increase durability threefold compared to conventional plating but also ensure the absence of harmful compounds, meeting stringent European RoHS standards for water quality and chemical safety.
Within Viglacera’s building materials ecosystem, health protection also extends to antibacterial tiles, sintered stone surfaces suitable for kitchen countertops, and energy-saving glass with UV protection, enhancing living quality and user health.

4. Solution for resilience against storms and flooding

In response to heavy rainfall, flooding, and increasing storm frequency, Viglacera integrates surface material solutions that significantly mitigate risks from extreme weather conditions.

New glazed roof tile products with drainage grooves, anti-splash and anti-lift design, ensuring safety under severe weather conditions.

Notably, 20mm-thick high-strength porcelain tiles with open-joint installation allow rainwater to naturally seep through joints into the ground, reducing flooding, facilitating maintenance, and extending project lifespan under extreme conditions.

Roofing products are also designed with drainage channels and anti-splash features, along with anti-lift characteristics, ensuring safety during heavy rain and strong winds.

5. Fire-resistant solution

In the context of stricter fire prevention and firefighting regulations, Viglacera provides fire-resistant material systems, notably 6mm-thick large-format tiles. Applied to doors, partitions, and kitchen cabinets, this solution effectively replaces traditional wood materials, which have high fire spread coefficients.

6mm-thick sintered stone products applied to doors and kitchen cabinets replace natural wood, providing effective fire resistance. Combined with autoclaved aerated concrete walls, they ensure superior fire performance.

Viglacera also offers materials known as “fire shields,” capable of withstanding high temperatures continuously for up to four hours. In emergency situations, AAC concrete or ALC panels create a “golden time” window for evacuation and rescue.

6. Sustainable space solution

Resource depletion pressures and ESG trends drive strong demand for materials that both outperform traditional materials and replace natural wood and stone.

Viglacera addresses this with a sustainable product ecosystem, notably sintered stone with full-body veining technology that realistically replicates natural wood, stone, and phenomena such as clouds, water, snow mountains, and lightning. The effect runs through the entire thickness of the material, making it ideal for architectural and interior applications.

This solution focuses on materials capable of replacing natural wood and stone, reducing resource extraction and carbon footprint. Typical applications include sintered stone for kitchen cabinets, islands, and basin surfaces, replacing natural marble; and porcelain flooring as an effective alternative to natural wood.

Viglacera’s wood-grain tiles eliminate common drawbacks of natural wood such as warping, termites, and deformation.

Wood-grain porcelain tiles sized 60x120 cm simulate natural wood textures while offering superior durability.

An important component of this ecosystem is water-saving sanitary equipment, optimizing water consumption costs.

This solution directly contributes to three core sustainability goals: conserving natural stone and wood resources, reducing lifecycle carbon footprint, and optimizing daily water and energy consumption.
