Deputy General Director Nguyen Minh Tuan reported business performance of the tiles – sanitary ware division

On behalf of units in the Division, Deputy General Director Nguyen Minh Tuan has reported some implementing results of the main goals in 2015.

The Division’s profit in 2015 reached 102% of the target one, increase by 109% over the same period of 2014. All units in the Division has increased profits compared to the ones in 2014.

The revenue reached 108.4% compared to the planned one in 2015, increased by 12.7% compared to the one in 2014. Business value reached 109.3% of the planned one, increased by 15% over the same period of 2014. Moreover, receivable indicator is one of the highlight of the Division when all unit had debt balance decreased by 80.6%, completed their commitment with the Corporation plans. Other indicators such as labor income, export targets were achieved as planned.

Especially in the field of scientific & technological investment and innovation, in 2015 the Division has commenced an investment project to expand production of premium granite tiles Phase 2 – Viglacera Thai Binh Factory at Tien Hai Industrial Zone. This project is awarded the Certificate of Environmental Management System with Vietnam Standard ISO 14001: 2010 / ISO 14001: 2004 by the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality.

The first "green product set" was launched on the occasion of the 12th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The successful production of premium granite tiles with green technology has continued marking Viglacera as a pioneer in the field of construction materials.

General Director Nguyen Anh Tuan spoke and gave directions at the conference

Speaking at the review conference, General Director Nguyen Anh Tuan praised efforts of the units in the Division. The Division has managed production and business activities, created working environment and stable income for employees. In particular, this is the first time within the past 5 years, key indicators of production and business activities of the Division were achieved and exceeded the assigned plan. In order to continue the sustainable development, the General Director emphasized that the units should have long-term development strategy, with a specific agenda. Also, both the Division and each unit should develop 5-year plans (2016-2020) in line with the Corporation’s.

To promote the results achieved in 2015, gradually overcoming limitations, aiming at well implementing tasks assigned by the Corporation, the review conference has set out a number of key tasks in 2016, namely: Continuing close coordination between production and business units, promoting full capacity of lines, improving product quality, developing new products as committed roadmap, reducing costs, lowering product price to increase the product competitiveness in both domestic and international markets, enhancing market development...

Also at the review conference, leaders of Viglacera Corporation signed in the 2016 production and business plans which were assigned to the Division units. Pursuant to the committed targets, the units would develop specific solutions, implement in line with targeted content and take responsibility with the General Director for implementing the assigned tasks.

It is forecasted that the construction material market in 2016 would still be difficult, but there would be also opportunities and challenges. Promoting the achievements of 2015, with proper orientation, drastic attention and direction from the Corporation leaders, staff at the Viglacera Granite Tile – Sanitary Ware division sanitary has a strong determination to successfully implement the assigned tasks.
