A delegation from 16 countries around the world visited the VIGLACERA Corporation
On October 26, 2014, a delegation from 16 countries around the world came to Hanoi to attend the International Skill Partnership Seminar and visited VIGLACERA Corporation. After visiting Viglacera’s Hall of Fame – which presented the entire process of development and operational sectors of the Corporation, lots of delegates expressed their wishes to see Viglacera products’ presence in their own countries and were looking forward to cooperating and supporting Viglacera in training and education.
Viglacera Corporation warmly welcomed delegates from big enterprises such as Microsoft, Rolls-Royce Vietnam, Intel Vietnam, Ford Motors South Africa, IDG Ventures Vietnam; and also delegates from leading institutions of occupational skills in the UK and in the region such as People 1st, ProSkills UK, SEAMEO Voctech (the organization of improving the quality of occupational training management for ASEAN region) at the Hall of Fame on 3rd floor, Viglacera Tower, No. 1 Thang Long Avenue, Hanoi.
On this occassion, the delegation had an opportunity to know about the history of Vietnamese construction material industry in general and Viglacera’s establishment and development in building materials and real estate in particular, as well as its contribution to the development of national economy and society from the national reconstruction period to industrialization– modernization period.
In order to give the delegates more information about Viglacera’s potential and development orientation, Dr. Tran Ngoc Tinh - the Principal of Viglacera Vocational College directly answered all questions at the visit.
At the end of the visit, lots of delegates expressed their wishes to have a closer relationship with Viglacera Corporation and were looking forward to opportunities to cooperate with the Corporation in building material development, research and training.
Mr. Remo Chipatiso, in charge of education, sport and society of British Council, said: "After learning about Viglacera, especially hearing your introduction about Viglacera Corporation, I appreciate Viglacera being a giant company, and a potential partner. I do hope that the Corporation will expand into African markets, particularly into South Africa - my country".
