Cuban Foreign and Invesment Minister, Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz - Co-Chairman of the Vietnam-Cuba Intergovernmental Committee visits Viglacera building materials factories in Binh Duong

The 35th Session of the Vietnam - Cuba Intergovernmental Committee is held in early October 2017 in Vietnam, Cuban Foreign and Investment Minister, Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz - Co - Chairman of the Intergovernmental Committee Vietnam - Cuba and Ms. Lianys Torres Rivera, Cuban ambassador visited to Viglacera's construction material factories in Binh Duong province and worked with Viglacera leaders about Cuba projects.

 At the meeting with the leader of Viglacera, the Minister, Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz affirmed that Vietnam and Cuba are in the best condition in order to strengthen and develop more co-operation. In 2016, Vietnam was ranked 2nd in Cuba's trade cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region and ranked 10th in Cuba's total trade exchange with foreign countries. Many Cubans have chosen to use Viglacera products because of the quality and reasonable price. Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz also affirmed that the Cuban would support all efforts to compelete the agreements signed between the two sides, especially is the establishment of SANVIG Joint Stock Company, joint venture between Viglacera and the Geicon Group, and other projects of Viglacera investing in Cuba such as hotel and resort investment, investment in industry zone infrastructure development, which is a joint venture with Mariel special economic zone of Cuba.

The Minister, Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz and the Cuban ambassador visited to Viglacera Building Materials factories in Binh Duong, including Viglacera Float Glass Company, Viglacera Energy Saving Glass Factory, Viglacera Porcelain Company Binh Duong ... and actually observe the production line, production process, which is the actual production model will be applied in Cuba after completing to establish SANVIG Joint Stock Company, joint venture between Viglacera and the Geicon Group.
