Power of Joint Stock Corporation approach continues to be confirmed by Viglacera’s business results of the first 6 months
The first 6 months of 2015, business results achieved higher than planned target, Viglacera has demonstrated the effectiveness of joint-stock enterprises. These are the statements of Viglacera’s board leaders in the conference of evaluating the results of business activities in the first 6 months and implementing business plan last 6 months of 2015, took place on June 30, 2015, at Viglacera Corporation’s headquarters, No. 1, Thang Long Avenue, Ha Noi.

Attending the meeting were Chairman of Board of Management - Luyen Cong Minh, General Director - Nguyen Anh Tuan, the Board Members, the Deputy General Directors and all department leader of Viegalcera Corporation.
Viglacera Corporation’s profit before tax reached 50% of the yealy plan in first 6 months of 2015, increased 6 times over the same period of 2014, second quarter profit growth of 89% compared to first quarter; Viglacera Corporation’s revenue reached 7017 billion, gains 36% compared to the same period of 2014, second quarter growth of 16% compared to first quarter.
In particular, the parent company profit archived 67% of annual plan, accounting for 75.6% of the total profit of the Corporation; revenues reached 2,593 billion, equivalent to 54% yearly target and increase 29% compared to the same period of 2014.

Business performance for the first 6 months was very positive and close to the approved plan Annual Shareholders Meeting in year 2015. In particular of building materials field has highly growth in profit and revenue, and return on sales over the same period.
Corporations praised 3 outstanding subsidiaries for reaching and exceeding first 6 months of business plan, major contributing to the overall business result of the Viglacera Corporation: Viglacera Float Glass Company, Viglacera Ha Long JSC and Viglacera Real Estate Business Company.
During the first 6 months of 2015, several new projects are started, implemented and operated, such as: taking-over the Dang Xa social housing at stage 3th - inaugurated the project of social housing at Dang Xa Urban Aream, commenced the Phu Ha Industrial Zone, start the "green" Granite tile production plant in the Thai Binh, inaugurated the clinker tile production line at Viglacera clinker Joint Stock Company, etc. Besides, several of new products with high quality, simultaneous had introducted to the market such as the set of energy-saving products, the set of sustainable products, with many advantages.

Chairman Luyen Cong Minh highly appreciated the Viglacera’s business results that was achieved in first 6 months, especially the profit target, revenues all have exceeded the plans. The Chairman also said the profit targets of Viglacera Corporation in 2015 is feasible.

General Director - Nguyen Anh Tuan said: Viglacera’s business efficiency increase 6 times higher than the same period in 2014 since transforming from state own enterprise to joint stock company formation. This confirms the effectiveness of the work of restructuring of enterprises. General Director Nguyen Anh Tuan also directed: beside the implementation of business plans, the Corporation and subsidiaries should continue to focus on the restructuring according to the intended schedule, also solving two major issues that are improving the technology and quality of human resources.
