Quarter I / 2015: The Viglacera Department of Tiles - Sanitary Wares recorded a remarkable growth compared to the same period last year
In the morning of 08.04.2015, the Viglacera Department of Tiles – Sanitary Wares held a Conference to evaluate the business results in the 1st quarter of 2015, to implement the 2nd quarter of 2015 plan at Viglacera headquarter. The conference was attended by the Corporation Board of Directors and key personnel of subsidiaries.
According to the evaluation report of the 1st quarter of 2015, the key production target of Viglacera Department of Tiles - Sanitary Wares continued a significant growth compared to the same period in 2014.
Profit of Tiles group reached 120% of the quarter plan; revenue reached 130% of the quarter plan, increased by 29% compared to that of the same period; business value reached 125%, rising by 39% compared to that of the same period.
Profits of Sanitary ware group reached 119% of the quarter plan and increased by 73% compared to that of the same period; revenue reached 118% of quarter plan and increased by 21% compared to that of the same period; business value reached 118% of the quarter plan and increased by 32% compared to that of the same period.
Accordingly, the living of staff and workers has been markedly improved, the average income has been increasing.

The positive results are due to the fact that, from the end of 2014, under the direction of the Board of Directors, subsidiaries started reviewing, developing 2015 plans including raw material preparation, production, consumption, market development... Besides, the temporary production stop for routine machinery repair and maintenance during the Lunar New Year has helped improve quality and capacity of the plants.

In particular, for Tiles group: study and research on slip, product design to suit the requirements and orientation of both domestic and export markets; for Sanitary wares and faucet group: improve product set, develop strict control standards, equip testing tools, evaluate product quality based on export standards...

As predicted, in 2015, the real estate market, the domestic building materials have signs of recovery, but there are still difficulties and challenges.
