Singapore Institute of Estate Agents to visit Viglacera - Dang Xa Urban Area
In the afternoon of 26/10/2015, the delegation of Institute of Estate Agents, Singapore led by Chairman Jeff Foo, Vice Chairman Harry Yeo, along with Mr. Nguyen Tran Nam. Chairman of Vietnam Real Estate Association (VNREA), visited and worked in Dang Xa Urban Area - Gia Lam - Hanoi. Singapore Institute of Estate Agents paid special attention to social housing, housing for low-income people in the urban area. This project is developed by Viglacera Corporation - JSC.
Singapore Institute of Estate Agents visited the Social Housing Phase 3 in Dang Xa Urban Area
Greeting the delegation were general director of Viglacera Corporation Nguyen Anh Tuan, the director and staff from Viglacera Investment & Infrastructure Development Company.
During the visit, Viglacera gave the delegation an overall introduction about the development of Vigalcera Corporation and detailed introduction about Dang Xa Urban Area, via drawings, planning and construction photos, which has successfully deployed and put into opearation and use.

Dang Xa Urban Area has a total land area of 69ha in which 26.3ha is for living (38% of the total area). In particular, land for social housing and low-price commercial housing stand is 20.3 ha (77% of land for living). Till now, Dang Xa has a total of more than 4,500 social housing and low-price commercial housing units. Each unit is from 40m2 - 70m2.

Information given by Viglacera Corporation - JSC attractted special attention from tSingapore Institute of Estate Agents. The delegates asked many questions about real estate law, housing policy for the poor, Viglacera’s solution to carry out a project efficiently, apartment price, operation cost, as well as utilities that people are being used. The institute also addressed their desire to collaborate with Viglacera on real estates in Vietnam.
Determined to implement national housing development policies and comply with direction of the Ministry of Construction, Viglacera has made a comprehensive change in understanding about social housing: Viglacera’s Social housing for low-income people with not-low quality. Development of Dang Xa social housing was synchronized from planning, architecture, technical & social infrastructure with the goal of the project: later phase is always better than the previous. Therefore, the social housing project in Dang Xa Urban Area of Viglacera has been awarded many prizes in architecture, quality, like: Vietnam Green Architecture Award by Vietnam Association of Architects; High quality work by the Ministry of Construction, etc. Currently, Viglacera is the largest social housing developer in the North and a pioneering enterprise in social housing construction for rent.
