The consecutive third time, Viglacera has been honored “National Brand”

Once again, Viglacera was named with the title “National Brand 2016”. This is the consecutive 3rd time that Viglacera receives this award. With “National Brand” Viglacera continues to confirm firm position of the leading enterprise in building materials industry and real estate in Vietnam, from which to continue to promote the image, build brand reputation in the world.

Before the Honors Ceremony “National Brand” taking place, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan -representative of Viglacera Corporation JSC attended the meeting with President Tran Dai Quang at Presidential Palace and received congratulation and awarded logo from President

National brand program is the unique program implemented by Vietnam Government for a purpose of promoting the country’s image via product branding. Logo for National Brand has title Vietnam Value which is given to the product having its own brand, meeting criteria stipulated by the program. Enterprises achieving national brand have been developed results to continue pursuing value of the Program that are Quality – Innovation, Creativity – Pioneer Capability.

Enterprises chosen to have National Brand in 2016 need meet variety of criteria such as: as a result of modern production process and business management, meet requirements and regulations of the authorities in each period; use advanced production line, environmentally friendly, use domestic materials; have ability to export or replace import product; product quality is guaranteed by advanced quality management system and recognized under the provisions of current legislation; Design and utility have advantages, innovative; Product Brand is registered for protection of intellectual property rights in Vietnam and is owned by enterprises, business firms establised in Vietnam; There are strategies to build, develop and protect brand; Have specialised brand management apparatus; Have large portion in domestic market and in exports and chosen by consumers.

representative of Viglacera Corporation JSC Therefore, to achieve the title “National Brand 2016” and especially consecutive three times, Viglacera Corporation JSC always strive to complete successfully targets in the past year and has maintained leading role in building material industry in Vietnam. And the result is the award for continuous effort to affirm the leading position of Viglacera in building materials industry and real estate.

The year of 2016 is successful year with many important events such as: in just the first 9 months of the year 2016, the Corporation exceeded profit target of the whole year 2016 of which approved by General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS); consecutive commencement and active new industrial parks such as: Tien Hai, expanded Yen Phong, My Xuan, Dong Van IV industrial Zone; focus on research, development and science application of advance technology in production to launch market new products, green products with advantages such as: Viglacera energy saving glass etc. Besides, the year of 2016 is also the year that Viglacera promoted abroad investment, notably in Cuba. Viglacera and Cuban Ministry of Construction and some big corporations in this country have signed some minutes of agreement to establish building material manufacturing enterprises, invest in hotel services, and expand export market in Cuba.

In the next time, Viglacera will continue to attack aggressively foreign markets and focus on green scientific and technological revolution in building materials industry by investment, manufacture and enhancement in product quality of environmentally friendly building materials such as AAC, clinker brick, low-e glass, tiles and nano-coating sanitary wares dirty repellent, water-saving faucet etc

In particular, the business strategy of the Corporation seeks to sustainable development – “green” devepment. Coping with actual situation of environmental degradation, scarcity of energy sources and exhausted natural resources, Viglacera has focused on modern production technology application, use of common materials, restrain using scarce resources and promote research in order to enhance environmental friendly features for each product.

Such results and big contribution to the building materials industry and society somewhat have created brand value of Viglacera. Currently, products of Viglacera have been offered and consumed in more than 40 countries and territories in the world. The consecutive third time recognised as “National Brand” will be motivation for Viglacera to continue building and developing Vietnam brand in the international areana.

The years 2015-2020 and the following years, Viglacera will strive for an average annual growth rate of 20%/year with revenues of $ 1 billion. Viglacera focuses on investment and development, application of scientific and technological achievements, advanced technology in the world into production line to improve product quality, compete with international brands, while promoting attracting and training high quality human resources – meet international standards etc thereby striving to develop Viglacera brand to the world, becoming multinational corporation.
