The Prime Minister has just approved: Viglacera is an investor of high-tech project “production line of energy-saving glass”

On January 13, 2015, the Prime Minister issued a Decision No. 60/TTg-KTN to agree the investment policy of project "production line of energy-saving glass" by Viglacera Corporation as an investor.

Currently, the building glass products have been widely used in the worldand becoming an inevitable trend in the future. Glass processing technologies are aiming to promote the great features of glass, increasingthe use features such as strength, energy saving, anti-fire... to applyfor construction safety standards, environmentally friendly, reducegreenhouse gas emissions.

With the initiative in research and application of modern science technology, and high-tech in the world for the production of constructionmaterials and the implementation of "green" strategy, Viglacera – apioneering enterprise in glass production in Vietnam once again confirmedits leading position by the investment project "production line of energy-saving glass".

The quality glass of Viglacera is produced to reach the standard EN 572-2:2004 , meet the criteria that preparation for the high-tech glass and beidentified by rivals, glass processors as the no. 1 glass in Vietnam.

Besides, the quality glass of Viglacera had a good appraisal at the international level when last October the company had overcome many enterprises around the world to be awarded for "World quality commitment” , is held by Business Initiative Directions (BID) - NationalOrganizations orientation international business Initiative at the International Conference Centre Concorde - Paris - France.

Because of the actual capacity of Viglacera and potential development in the future, Prime Minister agreed Viglacera to become the investor ofproject “production line of energy-saving glass" - the Project officially becomes the national high-technology project.

Energy-saving glass is processed from flat glass with ultra-thin coatingon the surface, with the ability to meet the requirements of usability,requirements for transparency and color of the glass, and a low-emissionfeature, small thermal conductivity, leading to minimize the heat transferbetween the environment inside and outside through the glass walls,thereby saving energy costs of the system air-conditioning system thatstill maintain efficient cooling in summer and heating in winter.

Thang Long Number One - Building uses energy-saving glass – the first"Green Building" was certificated by Ministry of construction.

The energy-saving glass project of Viglacera has a scale of 5,000,000 m2/year includes two phases of investment: Phase I of the production lineis 2,300,000 m2/year, in production zone in Tan Dong Hiep, Di An, BinhDuong and Phase II of production line is expected from 2,300,000 to 2,700,000 m2/year, in Bac Ninh province. The project will be applied thin filmcoating technologies sputtering in vacuum (PVD) - this is the most modern technology in today's world and Vietnam has not been applied yet.

The operating principle of energy-saving glass

In particular, the investment plan is approved by the Prime Minister;Viglacera has taken effective measures to the energy-saving glass that canmaximize the features of the product in the environment and climatepartition North, Central and South in Vietnam.

Successfully implemented project, Viglacera will enhance the competitiveness and Vietnam brand product in the world, together with demonstrating role as a pioneer in the application of science, advanced technologies in Vietnam under sustainable development, contributing to comply with the policy of the government of "national target program onenergy use and efficiency period 2012 - 2015" as well as "national program on developing high-tech to 2020 ".

To enhance uniformity, besides energy-saving glass, Viglacera produced environmentally friendly building materials such as: autoclaved aerated concrete, sanitary ware with fired nano, water-saving shower to have “a set of energy-saving products of Viglacera".
