TRADITIONAL GATHERING TOWARDS THE 52ND ANNIVERSARY OF VIGLACERA CORPORATION – JSC
Angsana Quan Lan (28 May) – In the solemn atmosphere as the entire Corporation is looking forward to the 52nd anniversary of its establishment, the traditional gathering between the leadership of Viglacera Corporation – JSC and the Corporation’s Retirees Liaison Committee took place as a bridge connecting a glorious past with a solid present.
The emotional reunion was attended by Mr. Tran Manh Huu – Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – General Director of the Corporation, Mr. Tran Ngoc Anh – Deputy General Director of the Corporation, together with retired officials who were former leaders of the Corporation and leaders of member companies throughout different periods. They are the individuals who devoted their youth and dedication to Viglacera throughout more than half a century of construction, development and growth. They are the people who laid the first solid foundations for creating Viglacera – a pioneering enterprise and a leading brand in Vietnam’s building materials and real estate industries. The presence of generations of leaders at the event was not merely a gathering of gratitude, but also carried a powerful symbolic meaning of generational transition and continuity, affirming the core value of succession and the beauty of corporate culture that has been preserved by generations of Viglacera people over many decades.
In his welcoming speech, Mr. Tran Manh Huu – Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation, expressed profound gratitude on behalf of the current generation for the tremendous contributions of previous generations and former employees. Those achievements are now reflected not only in substantial assets and advanced technological capabilities, but more importantly in the ability to adapt flexibly to every change of the times—an ability cultivated and passed down by previous generations as a profound and distinctive cultural legacy of Viglacera.
The atmosphere of the gathering became especially moving as proud traditional melodies filled the hall, evoking memories of a glorious era deeply engraved in the hearts of every Viglacera employee. The lyrics about love being fired like clay into a steadfast color, and about time resembling furnaces forging gold through hardship, resonate profoundly with Viglacera’s 52-year journey of building resilience as a major brand, where the flame of enthusiasm has never been extinguished but has continually been preserved throughout the passage of time.
The emotion continued to intensify as all attendees watched the documentary entitled “Following the Footsteps of Legends,” a vivid chronicle retracing Viglacera’s 52-year history. The film serves as a powerful affirmation of the pioneering achievements of generations in creating advanced building materials for the country, while honoring the close connection between generations that has created the impressive stature of the Corporation in its two core business sectors today. The impressive growth figures achieved today are a direct continuation of the solid foundations established by previous generations.
In the field of building materials, Viglacera proudly affirms its leading position through a comprehensive portfolio of premium interior and exterior products that shape and influence Vietnam’s construction industry. Alongside this, in the real estate sector, the Corporation has made a strong mark with 19 industrial parks covering more than 6,000 hectares of land, becoming a launchpad for attracting over 450 major global investors with total FDI capital reaching USD 20 billion. In addition, the Corporation has developed 19 modern residential urban areas, including the provision of more than 6,700 meaningful social housing apartments and one five-star luxury resort.
Beyond mere numerical growth, the greatest achievement collectively built by generations of Viglacera people is a strong brand firmly embedded in the memory and complete trust of Vietnamese consumers. Such stature is fully worthy of an enterprise that has twice been awarded the First-Class Independence Order by the Party and the State, received the Vietnam National Brand Award for seven consecutive times, and earned dozens of other prestigious awards from domestic and international organizations. These achievements serve as a solid foundation enabling today’s generation to confidently follow in the footsteps of legends and move toward the future.
