Viglacera continues to raise its position in the top 500 largest enterprises of Vietnam in 2017

On 19/01/2018, Viglacera Corporation-JSC was honored to be on the top 500 largest enterprises of Vietnam in 2017. The results were based on independent research and evaluation of Vietnam Report.

Being honored in the VNR500 showed the leading role of Viglacera Corporation-JSC in the field of manufacturing, building materials and real estate investment in Vietnam. This is also the confirmation of the achievements, efforts and contributions of Viglacera for the socio-economic development of the country. 

2017 is a successful year for Viglacera Corporation-JSC with remarkable achievements such as: Viglacera has, for the first time, achieved a combined profit of over 1.000 billion VND and exceeded the planned targets in 2017; Restructured, reduced State’s capital, increased charter capital according to the policy of the Government. Viglacera's stock (VGC) is also recognized by the stock market as an effective investment channel. The value of Viglacera’s brand is increasing and being recognized by the State, business community and consumers. The industrial parks of Viglacera have been growing in number of large and reputable investors from the international market. 

In addition, the promotion of research, application of science and technology and international cooperation in the production stage has helped Viglacera to break through in innovation and improvement of business environment. Especially, the Corporation is focused on investing in the building of workers housing, increasing the value of infrastructure and services for industrial parks. As a result, Viglacera's prestige and position has been increasingly recognized. 

As a pioneer enterprise, Viglacera has decided to expand into new projects and business areas. The Corporation is conducting researches, preparing to invest into industrial infrastructure zones of the Mariel Economic Zone and also establishing a joint venture to invest in the hotel sector of the Grand Caribe Group in Cuba. 

Viglacera's success in reaching the top 500 largest enterprises in recent years has once again affirmed the prestige and position of the Corporation. This is not only a recognition of Viglacera Corporation's efforts throughout more than 40 years but also a solid stepping stone to promote Viglacera's development in the future.
