Viglacera Float Glass Company: Profit increased by nearly 82% in 2016 compared to 2015

In January 10th 2017, Viglacera Float Glass Company held a review conference about business performance evaluation in 2016 and deployment the mission of the 2017 business plan. With the results exceeded the 2016 plan assigned by Viglacera Corporation, Viglacera Float Glass company is one of the subsidiaries achieved the highest profit and to be praised and rewarded. In particular, an average income per capita of workers is at the highest level compared to other units in the Corporation.

In the year of 2016, Viglacera Float Glass Company successfully completed key indicators of business performance assigned by the Corporation, particularly there was strong growth compared to the results of 2015.

Profit before tax increased by 78.8% compared to the plan, and 81,9% compared to that in 2015; Revenue increased by 2.1% compared to the plan and 2.3% compared to that in 2015. It is noteworthy that an average profit margin reached 28% increasing 12% compared to the plan and 15% compared to that in 2015.

From the efficiency in business, an average income of workers increased 17.5% compared to the plan, nearly 12.8 million dong/person/month.

Viglacera inaugurates energy saving glass factory (25/7/2016) - the very first meters of low-e glass produced by Vietnam business unit

In 2016, Viglacera Float Glass Company left a deep impression on the market of building materials by energy saving glass project. This is the first low-e glass project in Vietnam invested by Vietnamese business unit with two main products range are low-e glass and solar control glass. These glasses are environmentally friendly and bring long term efficiency for buildings while saving 45% electric energy used for air conditioner, prevent 99% harmful UV radiation to human health and keep warm in the winther, cool in the summer.

From the achieved results in 2016, Viglacera Float Glass Company continues to pose main business indicators for higher growth and sets out tasks to be implemented for the whole Company as well as each specific department.

Assessment of business performance results in 2016 and business plan in 2017 of Viglacera Float Glass Company, General Director of Corporation Nguyen Anh Tuan said: In 2016, Viglacera Float Glass Company achieved the highest profit in the Corporation, performed well the assigned missions and indicators. In 2017, the Company needs to continue to focus on low-e glass project, making the consuming plan of low-e glass to report to the Corporation before January 21st 2017. Besides, General Director also particularly interested in the issues of using employees of the Company and requires the Company to have a specific method to select people who are qualified to undertake better position with high salary and special remuneration.

Viglacera Float Glass Company will continue to bring into play achieved results and focus in high technology projects and introduce to the market range of environmentally friendly products in line with orientation of sustainable development and “green development” of the Corporation.
