Viglacera green building materials products are present at Vietnam Green Building Week 2020
At the opening ceremony of Vietnam Green Building Week 2020, Viglacera's exhibition “Green solutions for modern construction” was honored to welcome Deputy Minister of Construction Le Quang Hung to visit. With two main product groups to bring to the exhibition - autoclaved aerated concrete and energy-saving glass, Viglacera is considered not only a typical domestic representative in the production of green building materials but also one of the few material manufacturing enterprises that meet the rigorous standards of the international market.
Vietnam Green Building Week 2020 is the first event organized by the Ministry of Construction, UNDP and other international organizations to respond to the World Green Building Week 2020 organized by the World Green Building Council. function every year. This is an important event marking the construction sector's efforts to use energy economically and efficiently, contributing to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, minimizing the impacts of climate change and towards sustainable development of Vietnam.
With 04 seminars: Visiting the green buildings; Policy discussion; Plenary session and Exhibition of new works, materials, equipment, and technologies, the program attracted the participation of nearly 1000 delegates, domestic and international experts, project investors, manufacturing enterprises - building materials business, research institutions and Universities, etc.
In the 4th session - Material topic, Viglacera had a discussion on the topic of technology and equipment in the production of autoclaved aerated concrete and energy-saving glass, which attracted the attention of many delegates. Viglacera's speech not only offers many solutions in technology, equipment and materials, but also suggests solutions to many problems related to the transformation of the Vietnamese construction market towards a green, friendly with environment and use energy economically, effectively, towards green factor and sustainable development.
The achievements that Viglacera has achieved in cooperation with the world's leading technology solution and equipment supplier such as Von Ardenne GmbH (Germany) to build and operate the first energy-saving glass factory in Southeast Asia as well as cooperating with Hess AAC System Group (Germany) to provide Europe's leading equipment and solutions in the production of autoclaved aerated concrete and panels, which contribute to creating the first products of green building material in Vietnam to bring benefits to the environment, protect human health and improve the quality of life.
In recent years, the materials and project development enterprises have had many changes in their vision and development orientations, aiming to provide green buildings and energy efficiency to the market. UNDP demonstration projects on the application of technical solutions to reduce energy consumption in new and renovated buildings show that the energy saving potentials can be achieved from 25% - 67% / construction, with incremental costs of 0% - 3% of total investment and maximum payback period of 5 years.
Through seminars and talks at Vietnam Green Building Week 2020, Viglacera will continue to promote production and investment activities in the direction of "greening" at all stages, from investment to production and material supply, real estate investment activities, and at the same time introduce effective technical and technological solutions to promote green urban development, green building, and energy efficient buildings in Vietnam.
