Viglacera introduces Vietnam's largest sintered stone slab in the inauguration of the sintered stone production line and the 65th-anniversary celebration of the Construction industry

On September 11, 2023, Viglacera (VGC) held a ceremony to introduce the Continua+ production line technology for sintered stone from Sacmi (Italy) and unveiled a construction project sign to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Vietnam's Construction industry. At the same time, they introduced the largest sintered stone slab in Vietnam at Viglacera's factory in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province. 
 

The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Construction, as well as leaders of various departments and bureaus under the Ministry. Also in attendance was Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, along with leaders of departmental and industrial zone management boards in the province. Other attendees included partners, investors, architects' associations, distributors, and the leadership of Viglacera Corporation and its subsidiaries. During the event, representatives from Viglacera showcased the advantages of their new technology and the sintered stone products manufactured at Viglacera's factory.

During his speech, he highlighted the aesthetics, functionality, and high applicability of sintered stone as a replacement for wood and natural stone, helping to mitigate the long-term environmental impact of the product. Furthermore, sintered stone products are competitively priced compared to other natural materials, making them an effective solution for large-scale projects that demand quality, aesthetics, and timely completion.

The leaders of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province spoke about Viglacera's adoption of advanced technology in production, contributing to waste reduction and environmental impact mitigation in manufacturing. The Vietnam Record Association has awarded a certificate for the 'Largest Sintered Stone slab in Vietnam,' with established dimensions of 1620mm x 3310mm. With its manufacturing capacity, Viglacera is capable of supplying sintered stone slabs with thicknesses ranging from 6mm to 20mm, catering to the needs of various construction projects.

At the event, Mr.Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Minister of Construction, affirmed during the ceremony that 'The commencement of the Continua+ sintered stone production line today is also one of the exemplary and practical activities in response to and a clear manifestation of the Strategy for the Development of Science, Technology, and Innovation in the Construction Industry by 2030 and the Strategy for the Development of the Construction Industry by 2030, with a vision towards 2045, expected to be approved in September 2023.

On the same day, the ceremony to install a construction project sign in celebration of the 65th anniversary of Vietnam's construction industry was solemnly placed on the largest sintered stone slab in Vietnam. The ceremony to install the construction project sign commemorating the 65th anniversary of the Construction industry holds significant meaning, showcasing the dedication and pride of generations of leaders, officials, workers, civil servants, and laborers in the construction sector as a whole, and specifically of Viglacera Corporation.
