Viglacera launched Planting ceremony, commenced the production expansion phase II of Clinker project, and inaugurated the 100% conversion roof-tile production project
In the morning of 17/02/2016, Viglacera Ha Long JSC held a tree planting ceremony; Viglacera clinker JSC started the investment in production expansion- phase II of Clinker project, and inaugurated inaugurated the 100% conversion roof-tile production project in Hoanh Bo factory - Viglacera Ha Long JSC.
Attending the ceremony were former leaders of the Corporation, Board of Management, Board of Directors and staff of departments of the Corporation; leaders of brick & roof tile production unit from the Corporation,Viglacera Ha Long JSC, Viglacera Clinker JSC.

Phase 2 of the project was invested at capacity of 2 million m2/year, increasing the total plant capacity upto 4 million m2 / year, and created jobs for nearly 100 employees in the province.

Earlier, in phase 1, Viglacera invested 01 production line with a capacity of 2 million m2 / year. The line went into production with high efficiency; turnover rate of AB/green products is 98%, and that of A1/AB is 93% ÷ 94%.

With the investment for phase 2, Viglacera Clinker JSC will enhance its professionalism in manufacturing, as well as workers’ skills to meet requirements of consumers. Upon completion of Phase 2, the Company will produce high-quality clinker tiles suitable for modern architecture, buildings, as well as for exports to the European countries, Malaysia, South Korea and other countries in the world.

At the ceremony, General Director Nguyen Anh Tuan requested: Viglacera Clinker JSC must: save fuel, energy, raw materials; improve product quality; ensure project quality and meet schedule. Besides, the General Director also suggested the company continues to construct housing for workers, expand area for infrastructure, landscape and improve the living quality for company’s staff.
On the same day, Viglacera Ha Long Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to inaugurate the 100% conversion roof-tile production project in Hoanh Bo Factory.

This is a key investment program focusing on production technology renovation & competitiveness enhancement, in order to improve value of the company. This also opens up a new technology development trend to maintain the company's position at the market.
The 100% conversion roof-tile production project in Hoanh Bo factory has a capacity of 26 million pieces/year (equivalent to 02 kilns) with turnover rate of AB/green product of ≥95%, and that of A1/AB of ≥67%.

At the ceremony,General Director of the Corporation Nguyen Anh Tuan has sent New Year greetings to all officers and employees of the Company, and recognized the initial success of the 100% conversion roof-tile production project. With this project, Viglacera Ha Long has initially solved three problems: The first is the environmental issue when the Government requires enterprises to shift building products from fired-products to non-fired products, and to produce thinner products to minimize fuel and resources consumption for environmental protection; The second problem is technological innovation, product quality improvement; The third is to increase labor productivity. From the above issues, the General Director suggested Department of Planning and Investment, Departmetn of Bricks and Roof-tiles to complete the project in order to copy to other factories in terracotta group. Besides, the General Director also requested Viglacera Ha Long JSC to support other units in the group to grow together.
General Director Nguyen Anh Tuan, on behalf of the Corporation’s Appraisal Council awarded to the 100% conversion roof-tile production project team a bonus of VND 100 million.
On this occasion, to encouraging the collective result of company and employees who have contributed to the success of the 100% conversion roof-tile production project (phase I) in Hoanh Bo brick factory, Appraisal Council of Viglacera Corporation - JSC decided to reward the project team a bonus of VND 100 million.
