VIGLACERA received the Vietnam Property Awards 2018

The Vietnam Property Awards ceremony was held on the evening of April 14 at the Vietnam National Convention Center (VNCC) and was broadcast live on VTV1 - Vietnamese Television. The ceremony attracted over 3,500 participants. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Trinh Dinh Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; Mr. Tran Anh Man - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front; Mr. Pham Hong Ha - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Construction; Mr. Chu Ngoc Anh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Science and Technology; Mr. Nguyen Duc Chung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of Hanoi.

The Dang Xa social housing project in Dang Xa urban area, Gia Lam, Hanoi has been highly appreciated by the jury and selected as the "Best Social Housing Project"in Vietnam based on an independent and objective evaluation process with 13 judges. The jury is chaired by the President of the Vietnam Association of Architects, former Vice Minister of Construction Mr. Nguyen Tan Van and members are famous architects, auditors, lawyers, journalists and representatives of international organizations.

 
Dang Xa social housing project

Dang Xa social housing project has 3 phases of implementation with a total of 4,000 units, which are synchronously invested with convenient transportation, living spaces with advanced facilities. This project not only solves the housing demand for low-income workers in the area, but also change the development policy of the real estate market, bringing new urban appearance for Gia Lam area. In addition, with this project, Viglacera has shown our responsibility to the community by creating conditions for low income people to enjoy civilized living space with full facilities. 

 

Speaking at the ceremony,  Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Trinh Dinh Dung asked Ministries, Central agencies and localities to continue completing the policies related to real estate field and market for stable and sustainable real estate market; Amending and supplementing the laws to have enough legal corridors to create a favorable environment for real estate investment; Reviewing and finalizing the master plans, especially the socio-economic development planning, urban and land development planning. The real estate market must be restructured and developed with social housing development, housing for low-income people, housing for workers in industrial zones. The authorities must regulate and manage the real estate credit, have appropriate investment plans to avoid excess, hot development and the risk of property bubble.

 

Viglacera's success in investing in social housing is meaningful and has a great impact not only on economics but also on the social  aspects. Understanding the huge demand for social housing, as well as showing the responsibility of business to society, Viglacera will continue to implement new projects for low income people in the near future under the "Co-ordinated action to deploy housing development strategy to 2020 and vision 2030" between the Ministry of Construction and the Hanoi People's Committee.
