Viglacera Thang Long: 15 years of growth
With many breakthroughs during development, Viglacera Thang Long has become a popular brand to domestic and international consumers. In the morning of September 19th 2015, in the factory site in Phuc Yen, Vinh Phuc, Viglacera Thang Long JSC has officially held the 15th anniversary celebration (22/09/2000 - 22/09/2015).
Participating the celebration included former leaders of Viglacera Corporation – JSC: Mr. Nguyen Tran Nam, Deputy Minister of Construction, former general director; Mr. Tran Dinh The, former chairman; Mr. Dinh Quang Huy, chairman of the Vietnam Building Ceramic Association, former general director; Mr. Nguyen Van Sinh, Head of Department of Organization and Personnel – Ministry of Construction, former deputy general director.
From Viglacera Corporation – JSC were Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan - General Director, and other officers from Board of Management, heads of departments of the Corporation, directors of subsidiaries under Department of Tiles - Sanitary Wares, and all employees from Viglacera Thang Long Joint Stock Company.
There were also partners, domestic and foreign customers of Viglacera Thang Long Joint Stock Company to join this celebration.

The 15th anniversary of the establishment of Viglacera Thang Long Joint Stock Company is a chance for employees and workers of the company to look back at the way they have gone through together. The celebration took place successfully and created lots of emotions to guests, particularly empowered employees and workers of the company to continue to strive for professional work, and contribute to empowering companies.
During the celebration, Former Deputy Minister of Construction, former general director of the Corporation Mr. Nguyen Tran Nam recalled memories of the history and development of Viglacera Thang Long, while referring to future development of construction material sector in Vietnam in the context of recovery of real estate market. This will create opportunities, but also challenges, for employees of Viglacera Thang Long JSC.

As one of many leaders who has spent many years with Viglacera Thang Long, Mr. Dinh Quang Huy - Chairman of Vietnam Building Ceramic Association, Former General Director of Viglacera Corporation, was still moved when remembering the initial days of Viglacera Thang Long JSC with lots of difficulties.
To be successful today, Viglacera Thang Long has gone through many milestones. The factory born after only 6 months of construction was a record at that time. In addition, Viglacera Thang Long darely invested large, continuously updated technologies is also noteworthy.
An important turning point/milestone in the development of Viglacera Thang Long is the use of digital printing technology, replacing screen printing technology, to improve product quality, reduce costs and manpower in the manufacturing process. Viglacera Thang Long created diverse products with higher value, such as: the effect mold, yeast product effect, the effect of digital printing sold bone porcelain ... Stable product quality, variety of products, satisfying different consumers are key factors that maintain Viglacera Thang Long ceramic tiles brand for 15 years. Viglacera Thang Long now has a very good impression on the market.

According to Mr. Doan Hai Mau - Director of Viglacera Thang Long, to have a company developed as today is because of the close direction of the Corporation along with close coordination between units in the tiles group and efforts of all employees, workers of the company. Specially, Viglacera Thang Long has had a breakthrough in technology innovation investment since the establishment of the company, and continuous technology application in the production line.
In 2015, the Company will continue to carry out a project of new tile plant investment with a capacity of 6 million m2 at Phu Ha Industrial Zone, Phu Tho province. The new products of Viglacera Thang Long will focus primarily on high-end market segments domestically and thrive in the export market. By responding to the increasing demand from customers, Viglacera Thang Long ceramic tiles brand will continue to strengthen its position in both domestic and international markets.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy General Director of Viglacera Corporation Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan emphasized: "After three years of restructuring, Viglacera Thang Long JSC is one of the companies with stable and sustainable growth in the Corporation, has become a tiles brand-name recognized by domestic and international consumers. These things are inherited by experience, competence, passion, operational thinking and strategic leadership of Viglacera generations over time.
Considering product quality as the first priority, Viglacera Thang Long and other production units in the Tiles & Sanitary Ware Department will perform production line maintenance to ensure product quality and enhance production capacity from now until the end of this year, and for up-coming years".
On behalf of the Corporation’s leaders, Deputy General Director Nguyen Minh Tuan committed to work closely with Viglacera Thang Long as well as other units to successfully complete production targets the business to make further breakthrough for Viglacera’s brand in general and Viglacera Thang Long’s in particular.
