Seminar: Research on applying glass glue in buildings, high-rises and architecture with climate-specific characteristics in Vietnam
On October 18, 2017, at Viglacera Corporation, Viglacera cooperated with Innovent Research Institute (Federal Republic of Germany) to organize a workshop on glass glue in architectural glass. High-grade architecture and architecture in Vietnam. Attending the seminar were experts from the University of science and technology, National University of Civil Engineering, the Institute of Science from Germany and the Institute of Applied Materials Research in Vietnam.

Cuban Foreign and Invesment Minister, Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz - Co-Chairman of the Vietnam-Cuba Intergovernmental Committee visits Viglacera building materials factories in Binh Duong
The 35th Session of the Vietnam - Cuba Intergovernmental Committee is held in early October 2017 in Vietnam, Cuban Foreign and Investment Minister, Rodrigo Malmierca Diaz - Co - Chairman of the Intergovernmental Committee Vietnam - Cuba and Ms. Lianys Torres Rivera, Cuban ambassador visited to Viglacera's construction material factories in Binh Duong province and worked with Viglacera leaders about Cuba projects.

Viglacera and HESS AAC SYSTEMS (Germany) signed a contract to provide consulting services and technical equipment for the science and technology project on production of concrete brick
On September 15, 2017, Viglacera signed a contract with Hess AAC SYSTEMS (Germany) to provide consulting services and high technology equipment for the science and technology project "Research Manufacture of equipment lines and technology of production of concrete brick with the capacity of 200,000 m3/year".

Viglacera's profit in August continued to grow beyond plan
Profit growth exceeded 7.3% of plan and the plan of September, 2017 is the highlight in the meeting of business performance results in August. Therefore, the profit of August in the whole Corporation reached 107.3 % monthly plan, accumulated 8 months of the year reached 78.7% profit year plan. In which the prominent role of Viglacerea with profit of 121.8% as compared with the plan, the accumulated profit in 8 months is 65% of the profit of the Corporation, reached 89% plan year of Board of shareholders, profit increased 187.6 billion compared with the same period in 2016.

Thai Binh Economic Zone was established to bring great development opportunities for Tien Hai Industrial Park - Viglacera
The Prime Minister has just issued a decision on the establishment of Thai Binh Economic Zone with an area of about 30,000 hectares. Thai Binh Economic Zone will be developed into a multi-sectoral economic zone, taking advantages of province, creating more jobs, raising the quality of human resources and increasing laborers' incomes.

Highlights in July of Viglacera Corporation - JSC
Accumulated profit for the whole 7 months of the Corporation reached 68% of the annual plan and increased 1.46 times over the same period of 2016. In which the parent company still plays leading role with impressive figures when the rate reached 104% monthly plan, cumulative 7 months reached 77% of the annual plan, an increase rate of 172 billion dong compared with the same period of 2016. Cumulative revenue in the seven months increased 9% over the same period in 2016.

On the morning of July 24, 2017, at Phu My II Industrial Zone, Tan Thanh District, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, Phu My Super White Float Glass Co., Ltd held the Ground Breaking Ceremony of super white float glass factory. Capacity of 600 tons / day (phase 1) and total investment of over VND2,423 billion.

VIGLACERA's groundbreaking ceremony of the service area, housing for workers in Dong Van 4 Industrial Zone, Kim Bang, Ha Nam
The development of social housing (S.H) especially the housing for workers has been recognized by the Government in the Housing Development Strategy until 2020 and vision to 2030 and is a right policy of the Party and State, to facilitate the low-income employees are entitled to own houses. This policy have also received the consent of a large number of people and social organizations, but has not been supported by many localities and enterprises, the situation is slow and not actively that lead to the lack of S.H and housing for workers ....

For the fourth consecutive month, Viglacera has exceeded its profitability, in which profit for the parent company in 4 months reached 47% of the plan in 2017
Viglacera Corporation JSC maintains its momentum of growth as it continues to exceed its master plan target in monthly meeting celebrated on May 03rd, 2017. Accordingly, in April, the whole Corporation’s profit was 81 billion dong, reaching 106% of the monthly plan and 4 months-profit was 327.5 billion dong, reaching 36% of the annual plan and 1.57 times as much as the same period of 2016.
