Viglacera Float Glass Company: Profit increased by nearly 82% in 2016 compared to 2015
In January 10th 2017, Viglacera Float Glass Company held a review conference about business performance evaluation in 2016 and deployment the mission of the 2017 business plan. With the results exceeded the 2016 plan assigned by Viglacera Corporation, Viglacera Float Glass company is one of the subsidiaries achieved the highest profit and to be praised and rewarded. In particular, an average income per capita of workers is at the highest level compared to other units in the Corporation.

In 3rd January 2017 -the first working day of the new year, at the headquarters of Viglacera Corporation-JSC( 1st Thang Long Avenue, Hanoi), Viglacera Corporation-JSC held a new year meeting and reviewed and signed a commitment to implement the production and business plan for the year 2017. Accordingly, the main targets have higher growth than the results of 2016. Therefore, there will be a drastic change in both quality and quantity in 2017.Viglacera will comply with the commitment of General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) that increases the dividend and ensures the interest of shareholders.

Viglacera and new business opportunities for stock investors
With impressive business growth, Viglacera has attracted many foreign investors; their stocks were highly sought ever since their first public offering on UPCoM and many investors are waiting to buy stocks of Viglacera. On the morning of 22nd December 2016, Viglacera was officially listed on HNX, becoming the 167th stock listed on HNX in 2016, with capitalized value VND 4,912 billion, 75% higher than when it was first listed on UPCom. The listing of Viglacera Corporation has raised the total capitalized value of HNX to approximately VND 450,000 billion, 2.4 times higher than that at the end of 2015 and the total number of companies transacting on HNX to 777.

President and CEO of Nippon Sheet Glass – Japan visit and meeting with Viglacera.
On 19 December, 2016, Mr. Shigeki Mori – President and CEO of Nippon Sheet Glass – Japan visited the headquarters of Viglacera and had a meeting with Viglacera’s Board of Management. This is the first time the highest executive position of the NSG Group visited and explored Vietnamese market.

VIGLACERA and Sinoma to establish a Joint Venture providing engineering services and manufacturing equipment in Vietnam
On December 19th, 2016, at the headquarters of Viglacera at No.1 Thang Long avenue, Hanoi, Viglacera Engineering & Construction JSC. (Viglacera) and Sinoma International Engineering Co.Ltd. (Sinoma) signed a cooperation agreement to establish a joint venture specializing in providing engineering services and manufacturing equipment. This joint venture will be located in Tien Hai – Thai Binh Industrial Park with an estimated total investment in equipment fabrication shop in Vietnam is $ 15 million.

Dang Xa Urban Visit: Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc appreciated the planning, design and infrastructure investment of Viglacera
This morning on 6th December 2016, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited social housing project at Dang Xa Urban area – Gia Lam – Hanoi to learn the situation, the lives of people, the work of deploying housing for low-income people and also worked with authorioties about this model. This visit of the Prime Minister is to prepare for the national reference about social housing taking place on 7th December 2016. Phu Ha industrial zone successfully attracts Korean electronics enterprise
