Viglacera has just established The Glass Department, Tiles – Sanitary ware Department and signed the commitment agreements to implement the tasks with Departments.
In the morning January 12, 2015 at the weekly meeting, Viglacera officially announced the decision to establish The Glass Department; Tiles – Sanitary ware Department, and re-organize the units in these departments and sign the commitment agreements to deploy the tasks of the departments of Viglacera in 2015.

A delegation from 16 countries around the world visited the VIGLACERA Corporation
On October 26, 2014, a delegation from 16 countries around the world came to Hanoi to attend the International Skill Partnership Seminar and visited VIGLACERA Corporation. After visiting Viglacera’s Hall of Fame – which presented the entire process of development and operational sectors of the Corporation, lots of delegates expressed their wishes to see Viglacera products’ presence in their own countries and were looking forward to cooperating and supporting Viglacera in training and education.

Viglacera will produce sanitary wares and ceramic tiles in Cuba
On 15/10/2014, within the framework of the Closing ceremony of the 32nd Vietnam – Cuba Intergovernmental Committee meeting, Viglacera and Cuban Building Materials Group signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the joint venture establishment with two factories producing sanitary ware and ceramic. The two factories are both under the Cuban Ministry of Construction, located in San Jose and Santa Cruz.

Viglacera Corporation - The 40 year journey of development and sustainable growth
In the morning of July 18th 2014, Viglacera Corporation - JSC celebrated its 40th anniversary of establishment 7/1974 -7/2014 at the National Convention Center. On this occasion, the Corporation officially inaugurated Viglacera Hall of Fame.

Conference to review the first 6 months and to implement tasks in business plan during the last 6 months of 2014, Viglacera: Profit of the first 6 months has increased by 14% and that of the last 6 months is estimated to rise sharply.
After official restructuring to joint stock company model, in the morning of 07/03/2014, Viglacera Corporation held a Conference to evaluate its business performance in the first 6 months and implement tasks in the business plan during the last 6 months of 2014. Business targets for the last 6 months were set much higher than the results of the first 6 months and agreed by all subsidiaries, which showed high commitment to the successful implementation of assigned tasks.

First Annual General Meeting of Viglacera Corporation successfully taken place
On July 2nd, in Hanoi, VIGLACERA Corporation organized the First Annual General Meeting and officially restructure from a State-own Enterprise to a Joint Stock Company. Mr. Luyen Cong Minh, Nguyen Anh Tuan, Tran Ngoc Anh, Nguyen Quy Tuan, Luu Van Lau were elected members of Board of Directors. Mr. Luyen Cong Minh will be Chairman of the Board, and Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan will be General Director of Viglacera Corporation.

Bắc Ninh awards a one-billion USD investment certificate to Sam sung Display - Project implemented in Yên Phong Industrial Zone
On July 2nd, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province awarded a certificate of investment with a total budget of one-billion USD for Samsung Display limited liability company. This project will be carried out in the Yen Phong Industrial Zone with a capacity of 48 million products / year, creating approximately 8,000 jobs for employees with annual revenue of about $6 billion.
